What is the right way to pack your things in the cardboard box? There are some things you can do to make packing a more fun activity for you.
1. Before putting your things inside the box, make sure it is reinforced. Seal the bottom lids of the box with packing tape. When lifted, the reinforced box bottoms keeps your things from breaking out from the box. Strengthen the corners of your box by taping it too.
2. Keep the weight of your box in check. Make sure you don't exceed this number. You can use the bathroom scale to determine if the weight of the box is still within the limit.
3. Fill your box to the top. Place heavier things at the bottom. If not filled completely to the brim, the lids could cave in.
4. When arranging your items inside the box, position the heavier, bigger, and sturdier items at the bottom of the box. If not, the heavier stuff will break the lighter items underneath it. Bigger and heavier stuff at the bottom can help reinforce lighter things on top.
5. Use towels to cushion your breakables. Packing paper or styrofoam peanuts can be utilised too. These prevent the items inside from shifting as they are moved and transported.
